On-boarding to the MBBS Programme

UTME Entry (6-Year Programme)

Applicants seeking admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must attain the approved minimum UTME score (normally not less than 50% of the maximum possible score) in the combination subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English Language.

By 1st October of the year of intended admission, applicants must possess:

  • The Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), West African Senior School Certificate (WASC), GCE O-level or NECO, with credit-level passes in at least five subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology obtained at not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry (5-Year Programme)

Applicants seeking Direct Entry into the MBBS programme are required to hold relevant post-secondary qualifications as determined by the university’s general admission regulations and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria’s requirements for direct entry into medical programmes.

How to Apply

Applications to the MBBS programme are submitted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) platform for UTME candidates, and through the University’s Post-UTME and Direct Entry portals.
