The Faculty of Medicine, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), is one of Nigeria's foremost medical schools, dedicated to training compassionate, competent and globally competitive medical professionals. Situated at the Nnewi Campus of the College of Health Sciences, the Faculty has produced over 2,400 medical doctors since its first graduating class in 1995 graduates who now serve patients and communities across Nigeria and around the world.
Accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), the Faculty's MBBS programme meets the highest national and international benchmarks for medical education. Through rigorous pre-medical, pre-clinical and clinical training delivered within the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, students graduate equipped to practise medicine, conduct research and lead in public health, at home and internationally.
